COURT UPDATE FROM ABUJA COURTESY BIAFRA WRITERS/BTV CREW Of Anyikwa Kelechi Cynthia and Okoro Austine.....09/03/2016.
The court session is confirmed over as the so called masked witnesses did not appear again. Meanwhile journalists, including our crew members were not allowed in the court room. We got a first hand information from our lawyer, Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor that they have filed a motion for stay of proceedings, which means that Justice John Tsoho will not be presiding over this very case again, owing to his compromising stance and previous rulings.
Our leader Nnamdi Kanu came to the court few minutes after judgement was passed, and was later escorted back to the prison.
We were reliably informed by our lawyer, Barrister Ejiofor that the appeal proceedings shall be taking place tomorrow.
Our crew of Biafra Writers/BTV had the opportunity of granting our lawyer a live video interview which will be appearing on BTV shortly.
Final judgement states that the case has been adjourned till 6th of April 2016. Interview with our legal team is ongoing at the moment and details will be relayed to you shortly via this medium as well.
