Champions League Review: Atletico dump Barcelona out, Bayern qualify for semi-final

 

 Antoine Griezmann scored twice, as Atletico Madrid stunned defending champions, Barcelona, 2-0 in their quarter-final clash on Wednesday.

Luis Enrique’s men travelled to the Calderon with a narrow 2-1 win from the first leg, but could not match Atletico’s intensity.
The other round of eight clash between Bayern Munich and Benfica ended 2-2 in Portugal, with Pep Guardiola’s men qualifying 3-2 on aggregate.

Atletico and Bayern will now join Manchester City and Real Madrid in Friday’s draw for the semi-final.
