The United Nations Environmental Project,UNEP Report Project in Ogoni Rivers State is giving people of Rivers and Niger Delta a concern if the Federal Government have it in mind to clean up of ogoni land or to play politics with it, because things that should be on ground before and after the flag off are not still there till now that you are reading this.
The people of ogoni don't have a drinking water, no sign of United Nations Presence in ogoni land today our gathering in ogoniland maintained that there is no work going on in ogoni, nothing is in place, people still drink contaminated water, government did not provide water for people people go back to water they defecate on to fetch drinking water even as the so - called jamboree clean up is going on on Radio and Tv but not in ogoni land.
The United Nations Environmental Project,UNEP Report Project started from the Era of former Head of states, Olusegun Obasanjo, late Yar'adua, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and now to Buhari, still nothing tangible has happen so far, the ogoni clean up exercise not going as ogoni people expected a total surprise to Rivers People and Niger Deltans.
The clean up exercise will last for more than 30 years and ogoni people are not confortable with it and many are wondering why this project will last for this long 30 years and above, we urge journalists to conduct an investigative report for them to see there is nothing on ground to report that is going on in the UNEP Report Project in Ogoni Rivers State.
This is a window dressing, ogoni people are in a big mess, something should be done to help the life's of ogoni people, ogoni people need government presence and not playing politics with the development of the people.
