Niger Delta Militants, NDM, has reiterated back on their stand that Federal Government should not dialogue with anybody, that if Federal Government want to dialogue that it should be with them the militants and not with any Paramount Rulers, Chiefs, Kingsmen, Niger Delta Elders and High Profile people in the Niger Delta Region.
A new Militant Group, Niger Delta Greenland a group that claimed responsibilities of Bombing oil facilities in the Up land of the Niger Delta Region, have join other freedom fighter groups in the Niger Delta to ask for the review and reverse of oil Blocks in the region that was shared to some people that are not from Niger Delta for more than 50 years now.
The Oil Blocks which is alocated to the Northern and Western people should be reviewed, about 95% of main Oil Blocks in the Niger Delta Region are owned and operated by North and West respectively, a situation that militants call an evil act, that the federal government do not mean well for the Niger Delta people by sharing the Oil Blocks among themselves alone and leave the owners aside and behind.
According to Niger Delta Greenland,this is a disappointment a total marginalization that the owners of the land that the resources are coming from are in absolute poverty, pollution, bad roads, no water, eletricity, gas flaring, unemployment the most dangerous part is that unemployed youth see Barrels of oil been exported from their land without any development in the Niger Delta Region.
