BRT bus and a train carrying workers collided in Lagos

A video has surfaced showing victims of the Train/Bus accident being treated on the floor outside the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital LASUTH. The video has been frowned upon with some complaining that the hospital should have done better. The accident occurred in the early hours of today and recorded several injured persons who had to be rushed to the hospital for medical care. Videos shared online show the staff of the hospital laying foam in an open space and having some of the victims laying on the foam. It is alleged that this happened because the hospital lacked bed spaces in their facilities to immediately accommodate the victims. Lagos train accident extremely sad – Buhari prays for victims. President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sympathy over the accident involving a Lagos State BRT staff bus and a train in the Shogunle area of Ikeja. In a statement issued by Buhari’s media aide, Malam Garba Shehu, on Thursday, the President said that the accident was distressing and extremely sad. He said, “The accident at the level crossing involving the train and the BRT staff bus is distressing and extremely sad. Recall that a Lagos BRT bus and a train carrying workers to their places of work in Lagos collided on Thursday morning, killing about six people and leaving many injured. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State had already declared three days of mourning for the victims of the accident.

Blood Flows As Train Killed Man In Aba. Due to Bad Roads in Aba a man was killed by a moving train.

Blood Flows along the Nigerian Rail Way Line in Umuaro Community, back of Condemned, Dilapidated Aba - Portharcourt Road in Aba Abia State.

The incident happened when a commercial Bus carrying full passengers due to bad roads in Aba the Aba - Portharcourt Road in particular, Bus drivers in Aba coming from Park,Uratta Market to flyover now follow the only manageable road along the railroad , as the Bus was coming, train was also

coming with high speed, according to our source the bus driver was adviced to stop or clear out of the railway so that the train will cross but ignorance did not allow the driver to listen to his passengers.

The driver was delaying while train was getting closer to the bus with horne and high speed, then passengers start  running out of the bus and the victim was the last person in the bus while trying to escape and him bringing his face out and train hitting his head was the same and he died instantly.

Information coming from railway station security was that the train did not hit the man from the front, that he was hit from the back, that federal government are not responsible for the dead body.

Finally after government rejects the dead body the family of the man carried his body to mortuary.
