Singer Innocent Idibia calling Nigerians to join a scheduled nation-wide protest on Monday, February 6, for the return of good governance in Nigeria, more people declared support.
A nine minutes and 14 seconds video that was posted on Tuesday, by 2face, on his Facebook account had over 290, 000 views, over 19, 000 reactions and 11, 818 shares by Thursday afternoon.
The hashtag #WeWillProtest called Nigerians from different angle to to join in the protest march, saying that the problem of Nigeria as beyond the president, the artiste said “we have a system that is clearly designed not to work for the majority.”
The protest was to call the government attention to the deplorable level of education, food security, unemployment, healthcare, power and social justice which has continue to negatively affect Nigerians’ standard of living.
Governor Ayodele Fayose also support the protest and Other artistes including Davido, Burna Boy, Charly Boy, Ruggedman, I Go Dye, and popular ‘Galala’ singer, Daddy Showkey have declared their support for the protest.
Lagos State Police Commissioner Fatai Owoseni said he would not allow the planned protest because it could be hijacked by hoodlums.
