The agency made this known in a tweet on its official Twitter on Sunday.
The tweet said, COVID-19 has killed 1,390 people in Africa, as 9,328 patients have recovered from the pandemic in the continent.

The CDC COVID-19 dashboard showed Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Cameroon have continued to top the list of countries with the highest reported Coronavirus cases by (CDC).
the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced another 81 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the rise to 1,273 the number of confirmed cases in the country.
African Continent needs to be careful in dealing with COVID-19 and adapt to the precautionary measures stated by medical professionals.
