In Katsina - sunday, President Muhammadu Buhari has given the authority to the commencement of military operation to hund bandits and kidnappers out of Katsina State, the home town of the president.
The statement was made public on Sunday by presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu in Abuja.
Garba Shehu disclosed that a proactive operation by Special Forces is in place to sweep bandits across the nation, which details are being kept secret, is now in progress to replace the reactive strikes against insurgent camps.
However the president has sent condolences to the families of the casualties.
