Nigeria Government  Gives Directives to States To Reopen Schools.

In Abuja - The Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Secretary to the Government Boss Mustapha has given a directives as the wednesday’s briefing with journalists in Abuja to give update on the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Nigerian Government today asked state and privately run schools to begin taking measures that will see children return to the classroom as all precautionary measures to be adopted.

ential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, on Wednesday’s briefing told journalists to give update on the fight against the virus.

Boss Mustapha said in a quote, “I wish to inform Nigerians that the Federal Ministry of Education will roll out measures for the reopening of schools as soon as possible, we want our children to go back school. 

We wish to use this opportunity to urge states, local governments, proprietors and all other stakeholders to begin to take steps that will facilitate early and safe reopening.

Due to the emergence  of COVID-19 the Nigeria Government order for the closure of all private and government Schools in the country.

The closure of schools started since March as part of measures to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the country as every state in the nation observed the lockdown across the country.

In other development Children in the country observed the Children's Day Celebration in their own way as schools making move to make a return.
