Dele Momodu a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has asked the party’s leadership to punish the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for working against the party and been troublesome in rendering his services.
The party chieftain said when Wike was Governor of Rivers, he worked against the party presidential candidate in the name of Atiku Abubakar, and he also supported President Bola Tinubu of All Progressive Congress (APC), in winning the 2023 presidential election.
The former rivers governor Wike, who had stated his stand to remain in PDP, had boasted that the party leadership couldn’t sanction him for allegedly subverting the party.
Wike accepted the position of a minister in Tinubu’s government, against his own party, people are still wondering the next step of the minister.

Some days back, 27 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly left PDP for the APC over the political impasse in the state.
An interview wednesday on Arise News Momodu said the PDP leadership cannot continue to tolerate Wike’s excesses and must stop his antics before it is too late for the party.

The party chieftain once said that if he had the power to be in charge of the party, he would have sanctioned Wike for his wrong doing.
Momodu said the PDP leadership must have its reasons for keeping him while he continues to trouble the party.
Back to Rivers State, people are in doubt about wike saying that he want to control Abuja and Rivers State.
